Please if you dont mind, download it and test it out. what you could do is similar to what i do - I copy my ps3 game folders that I download off the net (not iso's mind you) to my USB hard drive, then use multiman file manager to move them over to the PS3 hard drive (quick than ftp via wifi for me). Made a very simple gui, just drag the folder that contains the pkgs into the gui and it will output an iso in the same folder with the pkgs. It will output an iso in the original packages directoryĪll this tool needs is a nice little gui and it will be finished once your in the same directory type : make_pkg_iso "C:/path/to/your packages/" (be sure to quote the path to your packages if it) Usage: Open CMD in same directory or navigate to the exe.

The param.sfx is also edited per pkg file, and the title that shows on the xmb will be whatever the original name of the pkg file was. This tool also uses the pics inside of the pkg so it is easy for the user to tell the difference in their pkg files. I created this tool just to learn tbh, it was not really intended to be released as there are other tools that do this in one way or another.Īnyways, This tool will scan an input folder for pkg files and will build an iso out of them! This works great for users that dont use webman or netsrv ect as the user can just copy the iso directly to the PS3ISO folder and loading it just like a game from XMB.
